Get off my ass, unless you want a fight

Although i have not been in the creative mood since my mother passed away in November, i must say i am starting to feel the need to create. Art shows are on the horizon and so is the beauty that spring brings to Duluth,Mn. I will once again be promoting myself along the north shore, mostly in Canal Park. I cant wait to get my works in the awesome galleries that Duluth holds. Although i wont be as close to Duluth as i am now i will still be making my rounds and spreading my name around town. With a little help from some new friends i have been talking to i cant wait to see Duluth again in the summer. Angies Cantina in Duluth will be my next place to hang my art, that is my favorite restuarant and i would love to see my work hanging at the table my family and i occupy. So for now i will keep packing for our new move. Good luck all.

Theres way to freakin many of them out there, get to the couch

As the days slip by from my window watching remembering all the time i spent with my mother i wonder, did she mean for this to become? You go through life looking up to your parents then the day comes that one must take another journey. Was this meant to be? lost in thought and lost in time while the seeds of life and the seeds of change were planted, outside the rain fell dark and slow i took a heavenly ride through the silence i knew the moment had arrived.Its time to kill the past and come back to life.Stuck in a world of isolation, you know you just cant win, when you ask if you could wipe the slate clean and they tell you to go fuck yourself you know you just cant win.

While listening to James Taylor, his song “Fire and Rain” when listened to makes so much sense. When the people closest to you, you think you will see again doesnt seem to always work that way. I guess life throws some hard curve balls, ones you trust seem to hold the worst grudges, especially at some of the most difficult times in a persons life. Its funny how some can turn there backs and walk away without a hesitation. Life isnt always fair so the best thing a person can do about people like that is to also turn there back and walk away. Yet to never be seen again.

Well it’s been awhile since i last posted so i will update you on whats going on at SnazyINK. Here in the Northland we are 1 week away from the world famous fish house parade in Aitkin,Mn ( Matt you have to google the fish house parade cool story there i can be your reporter ) and i have been making fish house hankies like crazy with my image of an ice fisherman i inked, which you can view on my website. I recently purchased a 6 in 1 heat transfer machine which can do ink sublimation,now i have to research how to do that lol. SnazyINK’s clothing line has been going well, no complaints so far.My art has slowed a bit, just havent got in the groove of things but im starting to feel creativity approaching. I purchased a Tattoo machine and have ventured into the tattoo field so once again my art has expanded. Being an artist has to be one of the greatest jobs, you get to open yourself up and be creative in so many ways. I recently taught high school art last Friday, the kids were amazed that i could create an image using dots. My former high school art teacher told me that these kids think stipple is a waste of time and he is telling them to do that just to keep busy. But as they found out, you can make a living doing what i do. Next i will be teaching my son’s 2nd grade class. I actually enjoyed the teaching process, which i thought i didnt have the patience for. I proved myself wrong. I love to test myself. So in a nut shell there it is.
